    Ill look into buying a slightly better one, i knew the beko wouldnt last long when i bought it but 13 months is taking the p1ss a little i think.

    Im sure they program them to self terminate at just the right time! Ive gone through 3 washers in the last 6 years aswell, my mum had hers for 18 years 🙁

    lol, im hoping dave reads this then!

    if its £100 plus, i may aswell just buy a new dishwasher for £180 and get 12 months warranty.

    just called them, and to cut a long story short the answer started with F and ended with off.

    Any ideas? How much is a new motor likely to cost?

    thanks martin,

    the missus operates it generally and I doubt she will admit to breaking it as she managed to explode the dish washer this week as well, so will be double jepeordy for her 😆

    Could you describe where this is? and what im looking for?

    I managed to extract the motor from the dishwasher last night so im growing in confidence, I suppose being an engineer by trade helps a little anyway.
