    sounds feasable.

these indeed have no filter which i found weird when i bought it, Ill take the back off abd have a look.

Any where in particular I should be looking for fluff?

    cheers mate,

actually i seem to remeber you cant open door, as it looks for couple of mins, but you can move it from hot to cold bypassing the warm down and then wait 2 mins.

I guess it is time for someone who knows what they are doing to look at it!

    Gone Again 🙁

my immense technical knowledge would suggest that the fuse is going for a reason 😉

Any suggestions? it lasted about 3-4 loads? Could over weighting be doing it?

yep its the lug on the door frame that has snapped.

    that sounds about right.
have not seen the unit myself so dont know if the lug is part of the door ie all one piece.

if the lug can be removed from door then thats all i need

    can you source?

the black plastic lug on the door that one of the hinges screws into has snapped.

So could do with the lot really if the lug is integral to the door.

so possibly door, hinges, and any other fittings !!!????

    😀

worked a treat, fuse turned up as promised, 30 secs to install and nice dry y-fronts all round.

saved me about £300 as i was just going to go out and buy a new washer.

Thanks one and all, a great service.

    as suggested.

took the lid off last night and all does become apparent.

thermal fuse sat their staring up at me. The terminals on it are black compared to the other fuse next to it so fair chance its blown i think.

new one should arrive in morning, so I may *fingers crossed* have it fixed WOO YAY!

Just out of interest and at the risk of sounding daft

The motor i removed looks a lot like this

couldnt i just stick this in if all the pipes met? would do a job wouldnt it? might need a few mods though 😆
