    Re: Samsung SR-L3928B

It could be a problem with the thermal fuse or heaters for the problem to return after a week or so.

if you can check ur thermal fuse for continuity and heaters for a reading of 200-300 then see what happens from there.

Within the next month or so, you will find the faults appearing again.

If you post the model of the fridge id be happy to help with the solution.

It could be a fault on the defrost side, letting to much ice build up and stopping the cold air being circulated properly.

    Thanks.

Re: Samsung RS21WCNS – Lower half of fridge Frozen

This fault usually means a fault with the fan motor.

that line that has shown up, assuming its the bottom line on the right hand digit means the fan hasnt spun within the last 80 mins.

this effects the top half of the fridge as the cold air doesnt get circulated round the fridge, hence the ice in the bottom half because of the cold air falling to the base of the appliance.

Usually this can be fixed by changing the fan motor, or as its called plenhiem ( the bottom piece that says TWIN COOLING on it )

If the temp fluctuates then your looking at possible sensor failure, although a different digit will show up when you are pressing the top two buttons.

    Hope this helps.

Fan motor will need replacing more than likely, a repair is cheaper than new appliance

Samsung appliances (when faulty) are repaired really well, id say RS21 series are one of the best ive come across, and when a sale comes along you can get them for 600 quid

Usually when this problem comes up, samsung insist you change the sensor and the fan, everytime this has been done we never hear anything from the customer again, unless its a totally unrelated fault

If you still have the problem it may be worth checking the sensor.

    Re: Schreiber APP6403

Before taking the board out, make sure the thermostat is posistioned to Zero.

Once you have done that, disconnect the two clips.

when attaching the new board, make sure the thermostat is positioned to Zero aswell, or as anti clockwise as possible.

Then the final steps clip the wires back to the new board, and make sure all the neons are lined up with the plastic tubes.

    And thats it.

PS if anyone has other ways of doin this, please let me no, im only 18 you see and very keen to learn everything lol
