    Thanks for the replies, but i think i’ve finally accepted that it must be the sensor after all. Its unbelievable that they can design an appliance that has to be scrapped after only 18 months because a £5-£10 part can’t be replaced. I know bosch do a thermistor kit to solve this problem with a couple of their fridge freezers but i suppose bosch and proline…no comparison!
