ParticipantFound error in error codes.
Seems super frost and number 3 light flashing is fridge evaporator sensor. Not sure if this is accessible. Only sensor I could find in fridge was air sensor (I assume) inside light unit.Mmm Anyone?

ParticipantRe: Indesit Dishwasher DI450 Wash Pump?
Thanks for reply. I did check pressure switch and hose. Although I only blew down it and heard contacts click but didn’t test continuity when I did it. Heater was coming on once water got to a certain level before it errored as I tested it on quick wash.

ParticipantRe: Amica Oven Selector Switch
Thanks for reply Mike.
Just want to confirm this is correct as I have this switch in the van and when I put it next to the one on the oven it was slightly different in that the one on the oven doesn’t have three pairs of spade connectors on the right side it just had two pairs. One pair at the front and one pair at the back, the middle pair are missing. So is this the same but the extra pair of connectors in the middle are not used?
Thanks for your help.
This is a pig of a job to park etc so don’t want to go back with wrong one.Subs

ParticipantRe: GDPR Compliance 25th May 2018
I too have recently received an email from one of my letting agents stating that for them to continue to do business with me I must confirm that im GDPR compliant. Can’t seem to find any clear information out there about one man bands only that they must comply all be it to a lesser degree to larger companies.
Anyone have a clearer understanding as to what is required? Thanks

ParticipantRe: Beko BC50F fridge sensor replacement
Ok thanks Dave.
Anyone know about this problem. I have come across many of these fridges where either the fridge is over freezing or not cold enough. Not gas problem. Changed potentiometer and board in the past but made know difference. That’s why I assumed there was a faulty foamed in sensor. Still can’t seem to work out how it controls the frifge temperature with no sensor in there. Would just like to know for future reference and understanding.
Anyone?
Thanks

Thanks for the info.
So in your experience, does replacing one or both of the sensors cure the problem of fridge not cold enough? After ascertaining that gas system is fine. Thanks

ParticipantRe: Beko BC50F fridge sensor replacement
Unless there’s a temperature sensing thermistor located on the pc board/ potential metre control in the fridge, how would it sense the temperature in the fridge to control it?

ParticipantRe: New Hotpoint Dryer Stats TDWSF83BEP
Much appreciated Dave.
Am I right in seeing that the stats only come complete with heater. This dryer belongs to a friend who had their old Hotpoint one replaced for this about 18 months ago due to the safety issues. They had Hotpoint out twice under warranty to fix an F04 fault.
So they called me for the same fault now it’s out of warranty. It’s the cut out stat that’s gone. Going to be expensive if I’ve got to replace the complete heater every time. Thanks

ParticipantRe: AEG Dryer E50 Error
Appreciate your help Martin.
I’ve been back and it’s E51.
Motor, wiring or triac.
Now I assume it can’t be triac on the board as Motor wouldn’t run at all. Wirings ok. So must be motor?
Incidentally, just to add to the confusion, there are 2 capacitors for this motor. One 5uf and one 4uf. Are they both ordinary start capacitors or is one a run capacitor? They are described as run capacitors on connect. Customer is looking to go for repair so don’t want to make an expensive mistake. Thinking to just replace motor and both capacitors. What’s your thoughts? Thanks for your time.

ParticipantRe: AEG Dryer E50 Error
Ok I’ve been back to this dryer. Put it into diagnostic mode and the only error it shows is E32. Think this is brush sensor on drum. Checked this along with wiring all ok. The dryer runs when I’m there, put it on 10 minute timer and it works fine. Since I’ve left and told her to try it and let me know what happens she’s since said it’s stopping again as before displaying E50.
I’m baffled.
Board?Thanks
