had similar problem not so long back. probably thread still in current pages. found side water meter tank leaking past due to internal ring clamp loose. leaked into base, and fried main control pcb.
could be the same prob,

could not understand how it cycled at a given lower temp, especially being both resetable stats. do you have a part no. cause this is the 2nd time i have reset this, not knowing there was a pcb that checks cycle temps.

so which one could be the temp control? obviously i would think this one 41017289 – 162degsC. but its a one shot cut out, manual reset, there must something out there to put a cycling stat in its place. and keep the man/reset saftey stat there to do its job anything that reaches 182degsC

set the m/c away on eco wash, it heated upto given temp then advanced through, would ntc cause this, after it heated ,it seemed to stick on the drain at end of first wash for a while then shut down, agaiin with with programme selector light flashing, and the it reselected back to rinse prog/light..itself.
