Okay, I’ve removed the pump access plug, I can see the impeller and there’s nothing in there but water.
I’m now running a maintenance wash (95ΒΊ cotton program) and the water is not heating up, why am I not seeing an error code on the display?
Looks like it’s engineer call out time……………again π‘

Carrying on in the same vein, the machine is now well over two hours into a simple 30/40 mix program π‘
It’s sitting at one minute left on the display and will happily stay on that cycle all night unless I switch it off.
Surely to grief there’s something amiss?

So, if the water isn’t heating up – would this prolong the length of the wash cycle?

Regularly, why would that affect the time taken to complete a cycle though?

Thanks guys, the wife’s going to have to learn to adapt to the machine – not the other way around π

Many thanks for the advice odom, the machine is five years old and well used and we need a replacement pretty quickly so….I’ve ordered an AW23 today for delivery and installation on Monday.
I hope that this meets with your approval π
If you look at my other post, you’ll see that my tumble drier packed in as well, so I’m looking for a replacement for that as well. :sadder:
And no, I can’t afford an ISE10 tumbler – before you ask :rolls:

Thanks Don,
Hey, I’ve just ordered an AW23 – so the ISE 10 Tumbler is a wee bit rich for me at the mo’.
I had thought that someone might have recommended the Bosch Tumble dryers but you have caome up with Zanussi. Any reason why?
Cheers

Well done that man :worthy:
The main control PCB is fried, several tracks and components all blown πIs this time for a new machine?

Hi, No, I haven’t touched the PCBs. Is it likely to be the the one behind the control panel or the main control unit itself?
