    Re: Baumatic appliances

Worked for Baumatic for a few years as a service engineer. Some good products, but more were poor quaility. BDW8/10 dishwashers made by Haire had a failure rate of 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}!! These figures were used in Baumatic service engineers meetings.
When i was there they manufactured NO products themselves.
If you pick and choose wisely there are some good products, but the company was run very poorly, and had a very bad reputation with anyone that dealt with the company.

    Re: Washvac / Parts Center

Thats correct. Any part that needs to be replaced that affects the gas supply requires the person purchasing to produce a corgi card.
This is aimed and the boiler industry(99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of Parts Centers business).

    Re: Wolesley Parts Centre

Parts Center is one of the most profitable businesses within Wolseley UK.
Rememeber that the white goods side of Parts Center is a very small part.
Parts Center is Europes biggest supplier of heating and control spare parts and last year in the uk alone turned over £140 million.

    Re: Partscentre ?

the call center at sittingbourn is closing, calls to be taken at another call center in Burnley.
No Parts Centers to close due to the white goods business being scaled down.
Do not forget that Parts Center used to be HRPC which is the countrys biggest heating spares supplier and wash vac was just added into this.
You can still order domestic appliance spares throught the branches or on line.

    Re: partscenter

Partscenter is alive and kicking. Partscenter is made up of 3 main parts and the main part hrpc(boiler spares) is a very healthy business.
Unfortunantly it is the old wash vac side that is going, throught no fault of the Reps and office staff.
Best luck for the future for all the staff at sittingbourne and on the road.
