    Re: Hoover To Move Engineers

As some of the engineers have said to me. “Scotland is a long way to get a taxi home when I hand my van and stock in” πŸ˜†

I bet you are going to reminisce over machines like a spinner rinse and power mangles. I remember them to.

I also remember Monday being washing day when the twin tub came out and we used to keep out of the kitchen because mum was threatening to kill someone!! πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Can I just say I have ex engineers of mine who have become friends over the years who left and went to Expert.

After talking to one of them last night the way they were given the chop was disgraceful. (If there is ever a nice way).

If anyone is looking for a systems engineer in North Wales I can give you a contact with three kids and a mortgage. πŸ™ πŸ™

    Hiya

I can think of several faults that can cause these symptoms, none of which I would advise you look at unless you are a trained white goods engineer.

If you are looking for a service engineer use Repairs@ on the column on the left, this will send your details to a local registered independant engineer that will give you honest advise.

    Wherever you live.

I do not know of any dealers in Peterborough but I do know of a contact that sells recycled goods with the councils blessing.

If you want details send me a private message.

If you are looking for a way to track internet sales and log commission I can give you the place to set it up.

It is called Affiliate software and most if not all web sales are tracked this way.

Including PAY Pal and many many others, I have even had commission on sales my brother has made from his site.

    “Trust me that was sweet”

The ACH (Advanced Call Handling) software announced at the UKW conference last Friday looks very interesting it might just be worth hanging on until June to see what the lads have on offer.

Judging from my previous experience’s with the management of UKW if they have gone to the trouble of designing a software package for service engineers it will be worth the wait.

β€œBespoke” software just for our industry count us we will buy it.

Sorry (not) for the 3.00am to bed (Or was it later)on Thursday night Friday morning, the conferance was a success pity a few missed out.

    😳 😳

We worked out that the four and a bit hours sleep worked at about only
Β£15 per hour that is better than my previous averages.

    Kenny

At the moment the manufacturers run their own induction courses that then allow successful candidates to work on that particular brand.

Eventually the service engineers from these manufacturers get fed up with the daily β€œSLOG” and often find jobs with us independents.

There is a wind of change within the industry and a NVQ in white goods electrical servicing and maintenance is looking like the preferred qualification.

To my knowledge CREATE are the only people delivering this at the moment, It would be nice to hear of others.
