    Okay

I called at a house one day and as the lady opened the door I immediately noticed two things, one the house was one of those that you need to wipe your feet on the way out and two the lady only had one arm. I started to work on the machine and asked (like you do) “How did you lose the arm then”?.

To which she replied I have leporasy!!@??. NO WAY I though that happened in the bible a long ago not now in St Helens, the lady then kindly informed that it was strange that her home help had it as well and had lost three fingers.

    TRUE STORY

Do you want to know what was wrong with the machine?

    Re: Awkward Customers

I was once in a house everthing was fine the “Lady” of the house was polite whilst I repaired her appliance I completed the repair (first time), she then went completly nuts and went to the nearest cupboard and proceeded to throw cups, plates, and cereal bowls at me. Just because I used the “Its time to pay me phrase”.

If you are getting interested I will share with you my first encounter with leporasy (Im not Joking). πŸ˜†

    Re: Fridge Freezer Cold Location

I seem to remember that a low ambient tempreture kit is available for these situations, it quite simply is a resistor wired into the light so that the bulb glows slightly. This obviously warms up the fridge so the compressor runs more often. It may be easier to fit a kit and charge them rather than trying to educate. πŸ˜†

    Re: Hoover Washer

E1 is a generic fault code New Wave machines have check times for each stage of the program. ie it has to fill in time, heat in time, empty in time. Error codes around 20-30 minutes would suggest a heater. As others have said a low isulation heater will cause E1 for the record low insulation on these machines is anything less infinity/999/OS or whatever your megger reads. It is possible that is actually a E1 fault. E1 refers to the contact E1 in the TMX slave unit located on the program board. There is no way to test for this other than replace the TMX slave unit. πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Sound like a classic blockage, a Β£1.00 coin fits perfectly in the inlet pipe to the pump. If your waste hose connects to the sink check the “T” piece it is common for blockages to be found here. 8)

This fault is well known by Gias engineers it started with the Softwave range it is caused by a fault in the clear varnish that is used to seal the print. You will find that if you push the writing with your thumb it will smudge if this is the case it does not matter how careful you are the writing will come of. πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Go with your gut feeling, all manafacturers have problems you must remember people only complain about problems. If everyone posted their praise about electrical products you would never get on the web.

    Re: Free washing machine

Hi nice gesture perhaps you could offer the machine to a local charity or furniture recycling centre. It is a sad fact that we live in a throw away world. I am sure someone would like the chance of a free washer.
