Yes, I could ring them, but that isn’t public. Yes I could TXT or email them, but again, that isn’t public…! And the questions / emails I want to present to them, NEED to be in public as to be fair, they are disrespectful and as per the words in such content, prove the WTA is nothing or ‘Not Viable’ (In Lawrence Careys words, he’d stand down as he doesn’t see the WTA as viable without UKW Resources) without Ken Watt & UKWhitegoods.

Just speak to him… He has not stolen anything with intent! As per Andy’s post above, there is a reason why there is some copied content on his forums which he was COMPLETELY unaware of until I raised it with him.
Again as per Andy’s post above, he is obviously MORE than happy to remove copied content.
As for signing up in ‘Droves’… I’m sure he’s aware that isn’t going to happen overnight 😉

So it should!! For a site that’s been online for 10 Years +, it has a very poor natural search result on Gooooogle!
I’ve been a member of UKW for 6 or 7 Years, and can count on one hand how many chargeable jobs I’ve had from the old search@ / Find An Engineer…!
UKW is its own little world. The search facility on UKW doesn’t even get a mention on Google unless you actually type ‘Whitegoods’ or it appears by fluke…!
We are only experimenting ATM with SEO and Marketing but FME are already the top 4 Places for Trade Accredited Engineers (Above Gas Safe, NAPIT, NICEIC etc etc) and first page for Trade Accredited Plumbers… Not bad for a site built from nothing and within 1 Year now has over 300 Listers and growing.
Then you have to take in to account how many people ACTUALLY ask where they got the contact… We did a ‘Mystery Shop’ last year, and 5 firms from 60 asked…! So how do people know what works and what doesn’t?
Free isn’t always best martin 😉

After seeing how Lawrence has officially responded to this, I now smile whilst shaking my head and walk away from this thread.
That response confirms things to me and I am now happy that I am no longer a part of the WTA.

Absolutely not. I was there the night we formed the TA. Why would I want to see harm come to it?
My only motivation in questioning some actions and Team Member viabilities, are as a direct consequence to emails flying around over Sunday last week within the WTA Team that shocked me and has made me question why on earth I have been a part of it for so long.
I’d like nothing more than the WTA as a ‘Vehicle’ to succeed, but as I’ve pointed out to other people, the way the structure is at the moment needs addressing.
You know the content of the emails that flew about Sunday… You’ll know deep down why questions are now being asked by someone that was once ‘One of your own’, regardless of what you say in these threads 😉
Pretty much done now on this subject anyway… It did happen, WTA Team did know about it… Nothing more can be said bar to call me a liar!

Haha! ‘Trolling’ is classed as bringing public issues that readers & Paid Members might be affected by…? Really? Or is it cast off as ‘Trolling’ to take the focus off the content & Place it on the poster?
I also look forward to the statement from the WTA. I know the people personally and how they deal with this will be a proper test of their persons 🙂

I manage a small team of Engineers, I do not repair appliances (Bar Gas repairs). If you have any information that I don’t regarding complaints etc, please email them to me as I’m un aware. I can then take them up with the engineers.
