    Hmmm, I remember the days, you connect the plug, via a usb cable to emit and you get…………….No Connection! It’s good on its own though for auto test, thats all i used to use it for. Oh, and I can recomend a good source to get a plug…………………. flag down a van 😳 , and offer the engineer £40-£50 quid for it!!!! Job Done 😉 !!!!

    Thanks for your replies guys, The job is via an Insurance Company so I will need to get autherisation first, I also need the programme selector PCB to, any ideas on price for that too so I can get autherisation? If it is autherised, I will have them so thanks again for your help. Once again, this site really does make life alot easier for us small repairers!

    F08 Maybe? It has always beent the heater or thermister when i have the fill and drain thing, how many flashes of the light?

    Hiya mate, apparently an obsolete part. I would use replacement timer mod (as per connections disk) electrolux DST1240805000. £132ish I belive. Hope this helps.

    ……Or if you know of a Merloni Engineer, he will have emit, I’m sure for a small fee, he would re-write the eeprom for you, works for me 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time.

    Hotpoint Mistral Range of F/F

    Test Procedure for these are –

    Turn appliance off at the mains, press and hold SAVE and switch on at mains and release SAVE.
    The sequence will now start –
    Evap defrost heater will activate for 10secs, then
    Gutter heater 10secs, then
    F/F LED display 10 secs, then
    Evap fan 10 secs.

    If a fault is found, the following error codes will apply –

    E1 – Freezer thermister o/c
    E2 – Freezer thermister s/c
    E3 – Fridge thermister o/c
    E4 – Fridge thermister s/c
    E7 – Evaporator thermister o/c
    E8 – Evaporator thermister s/c
    EA – No feedback from baffle motor switch
    EB – fridge baffle motor running constantly
    EE – Defrost heater timed out.

    May not be of any use to you, but i once had the same problem on another make f/f. the fan was going, but no cold air coming out of the vent in the fridge????? well, after removing the fan motor from the freezer wall, I discovered that the air channel between freezer and fridge was blocked solid with ice!! customer did a complete de-frost and it worked a treat. maybe worth a look a?

    after about 35 phone calls………….! and a lot of time on hold, i eventually was told that bernstein were going through the hoop and i would not get a spare for the cooker hood (k600) at all (even though it is just 18mths old)!. i have given up and got my customer a really good deal on a new hood but thaught i would post the results of my efforts as some warning to you all incase you come across this yourselves.

    Hi, you want to cross your fingers it’s a sealed tub………………them backplates can be a right pain to reassemble!!!! Give me a whole tub anyday!!!!!! Anyways, if you remove the lid, you’ll see straight away whether it has a metal band around the rear or not.
