Cosmos is awesome! I absolutely love the Yakatori grill so I’m up for that! Think Saturday night would be better as some people might not be arriving until late(ish) Friday?

I can see 0800Repair… Can’t see JTM. JTM & 0800Repair are 2 different companies, although owned by the same group. But I’m sure you’re well aware of that 😉 When you use JTM/0800 in the same context, you should be saying… JTM/0800/Appliance Network/Corporate Support Solutions/Fixzone UK Ltd… As they are all owned by Pacifica! Are they all DASA Members also just because 0800Repair is a member?
If I join 0800Repair, do I automatically become a member of DASA? If not, I don’t see the point of 0800Repair having DASA Membership anyway as it could be seen as quite deceiving. If a consumer gets 0800Repairs number from the DASA Website, they could employ a non DASA Member by the assumption that they do actually belong to a trade association…?!

In this trade, I’d say it is actually up there in the ‘All that’ category! Have you never been helped out of a problem by simply reading members posts about similar issues? Have you not registered and received free work? Do you not have access to manufacturers warranty work through UKW?
Ok, you disagree with a thread or two. Even comments that some people make… I’m sure we all have at some point… But to then turn & attack a website that is free and benefits 100’s of people in our trade throughout the UK just turns your posts into a laughable read!

Guys, if you’re a WTA Member, spend 2 mins to sign up! It’s FREE to WTA Members until 2012!
We’re receiving more & more emails every day asking for repairers in areas we haven’t got covered and to be bluntly honest, I haven’t the time to match make in my day! Some WTA Members have had enquiries / work from the site, FACT.
It’s free for now, you could get work from it, so GET ON IT as you’re a paid up TA Member!!!

Expertcat simply posted about a situation he found himself in as do we all from time to time! If I had the same issue with a product, I doubt I’d get the camera out just in case I was challenged on UKW!
You’re in Barbados I believe…? Massive respect for your dedication to the job, as if I were in Barbados, I wouldn’t be giving trade related websites a second of my time, I’d be sunning it up & sipping beer all day at the pool whilst admiring the local totty! Also, why use ‘Remote Desktop’? That I find odd, as to use remote desktop, you need an internet connection. A little tip for you… If you have an internet connection, log straight in to the site, as remote viewing is slooooow as hell compared to normal browser viewing IMO 🙂

UKW is open 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time on my laptop, but 1…. I’ve gone shy and 2… I’m still getting used to the layout etc before I start blowing my horns as per usual 🙂

If September is going to be a weekend thing, and an engineer meeting, would it not be just as cheap to get a hotel in Majorca booked?
Seriously…? Flights are what… £30 / £40 each way if booked in advance with EasyJet, hotels are probably cheaper than the UK and Majorca is 2, 2 and a half hours away from any airport in the UK! Probably save some people driving for hours too!
Could do a Thursday afternoon flight, Friday meeting, Friday night social and Saturday stay or go as per peoples preferences.
Just thought I’d throw this in here as I’ve been wanting a UKW Meeting abroad for a while 🙂
