Hi all…. I’m presuming we’re all happy with the above? I’m going to email it Monday morning to the OFT….. 😀

Hi Steve… That bit (in the first paragrapgh) refers to the WTA logo that will/would be displayed on members websites/ads etc. I didn’t want to put the ID card scheme into the COP because we then have to assume that every member will have one and will carry it to all jobs….? I know all members have acsess to them, but they aren’t mandatory for members.
Adrian 🙂
P.S….. I will be sending the COP to the OFT for pre application checks at the end of the month, so that gives everyone plenty of time to give thumbs up/down and any input 😉

BlockedRe: COP and OFT updates.
Hi guys….
Don has been doing some work on the COP to incorporate retaillers also. The problem we have, is where retaillers sell via the internet, we have to include all stuff about distance selling etc. I don’t retail, so I have very little knowledge, but Don seems to think that it is a massive load to incorporate into the COP. Maybe we should just settle for a repairers COP? What’s the general opinion?

BlockedRe: Barclays Premier League 2007-2008 / Champions League
Well, as an Arsenal fan, the worst thing we could do this season (after the recent weeks) is win the league! I’ve heard Arsene wants to buy just 1 player in the summer…… WHAT!! We need 3/4 players at least to boost the squad, and not kids either! I hate to say it, but Man U deserve the league this season, well played today and I hope Arsene looks at this season and spends some of the money available to him this summer instead of ‘saving’!
Now we’re out of the running, I’ll take it better with Man U winning the league rather than Chelsea anyways!

Martin, the appropriate person @ SF HAS NOT AND WILL NOT RETURN OUR CALLS. Please do not accuse me of not trying to contact them to get what is owed to me! That’s ridiculous! As you are now forcing me into saying more than I wanted, the only reason we got through to the 1 person higher than richard is because the ‘paymaster’ @ distriparts couldn’t answer my questions and I were not the politest of people considering his lack of answers and he got fed up of my attitude as all he could say was “It’s just what I’ve been instructed to do”! You have no idea what efforts we have gone to just to find out why they wont pay us…… Please don’t make out that I’m full out it….. Your wrong.
Martin wrote:If you have a business that is worth 10’s of thousands of pounds, has several engineers in your employ, wives& children in tow. Deep lasting commitment, life on the line? Would you shout your mouth out on UKW just for the hell of it?:?
Who is doing that? I certainly am not! We have no relationship with SF anymore and will never again. I am not asking ANYONE to comment, and never have so how would that be the case? As I have said twice already, there are very happy and sucsessful SF agents out there…… This is simply my experience that I’ve had with them and I have the right to air it. We all shout when things go well, and it’s happy days, is it not a 2 way street? 😕
Martin wrote:Ain’t going to do you no favours pal. Take that for what it’s worth and I will send you my 10 pence piece so as you’re not out of pocket if you like? 😉
Are you deliberately taking the mick or do you not think before you write, You have had no reason to get involved here and cause this ridiculous ongoing bickering….. 👿

BlockedRe: Work provider contracts
So what do we all think guys?….. Shall I rattle something together, something very basic to cover payments/terms etc that would be easily and quickly approved by a solicitor to seal it’s legality?
It could be just a download form from the WTA website available to all members to download, not compulsory, but available if required…..
Over to you!
Adrian 🙂
