    My copy of parts manual for this machine shows rear half tub with no bearings listed but lists oil seal

    PART NO DC97-00214A TUB BACK
    PART NO DC66-00008A OIL SEAL

    This any help

    Is it the fan or the motor that you want

    Are you sure that you are cooking at fan oven temperatures.
    and not conventional oven temperatures
    with a fan oven the temperature and time is less
    if you cook at conventional temperatures in a fan oven most things come out burnt
    My wifes cousin cooks 8 sponge cakes at a time in a fan oven and has no poblems at all

    First thing to check Is the clock set on auto
    It needs to be set to manual

    according to TDS its a SOLE motor so you should be able to get brushes but there are several types

    Element part no AR34100 fits OK , is slightly different shape but not enough to worry about and 100watts less than the original element

    I have just looked on Partscenter . As it was down earlier and they Quote Trade £82.17 Retail £126.49 both plus vat
    Connect show it at £83.32 retail £46.84 trade plus vat
    A big difference
