    yes i was pleased, went expecting prog/module
    fault which usually results in customer buying
    a new machine…… 😀

    Thanks for the replys.
    looked at it today and the fault was tacho coil
    hanging of the motor on its wires and magnet unscrewed.
    these refitted cured the problem.

    many thanks for your help.
    the old bearing has completely disintegrated
    and the plate has a groove worn it in….
    dont think the customer will want to pay £90.
    so looks like a scrapper, apparently only about
    2 years old !!

    does anyone know if i could use a 2 terminal .85mfd capacitor with a seperate diode, as i have these, on the 3 terminal capacitor only 2 connections are used, the 3rd one just linking the two together…..

    Hi dave, thanks for quick reply, have had a look but as you say it says .3mfd and the one i have is .85mfd. will have to scrap it by the
    looks of it. many thanks for your help……
