We heard whispers about this months ago but it was all very sketchy and from only a couple of sources so we let it be at the time but, it seems that GDHA service is indeed being taken on by Pacifica.
GDHA for those that don’t know is Glen Dimplex Home Appliances who operate brands such as Belling, Stoves, New World and Lec. Up until now they have operated their own service structure but reports suggest that it has become increasingly difficult to maintain that. If the rumours are to be believed, they struggle to attract and retain service techs.
ERT reports that GDHA said the move is part of its wider business transformation strategy. Which could mean anything.
And apparently, GDHA intends to partner with a leading international appliance manufacturer to deliver a new, high-quality product portfolio. So, Beko, Hisense etc we’d think so as to effectively outsource manufacturing, more than is already the case.
Interestingly the bulk of GDHA’s appliance service techs along with customer service personnel and support staff, will be transferred to Pacifica and integrated into its operations.

Pacifica, which is more commonly known to th public and much of the trade as 0800 Repair currently has a team of more than 250 appliance service engineers.
