White Knight is coming back, but calm down if you were a fan of their solid old tumble dryers as it’s not that you’re going to see.
As far as we can tell there’s no website but the brand is being relaunched in an exclusive deal with DAD who also run the Montpellier and Iceking brands. And, of course, White Knight now is not the White Knight or yesteryear as it was purchased by Vestel some years ago.
The new White Knight range includes washing machines, washer/dryers, refrigeration, dishwashers and cookers.
DAD’s Managing Director, Alison Taylor said: “Over the last 12 months we’ve seen an increasing demand for budget friendly and value for money solutions across all product categories. We’re delighted to be part of the relaunch of this well known brand; we’ll be listening to feedback and working with White Knight to grow the range to ensure it offers exactly what Consumers want – value for money without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.”
So it does sound as if it’s going to be a budget brand avaialble through independents only.

Will DAD’s company resurrect the White Knight Gas Powered Tumble Dryers. These are so efficient and cost effective. Would not hesitate to purchase as would many others.
I would not hesitate purchasing a White Knight natural gas powered air vented tumble dryer either new or used. My current (old) model is on the way out and I just cannot source a replacement Gas Dryer anywhere.
These dryers are brilliant, so reliable and only a fraction of the cost to run a similar sized electric one. I have had 2 models over the last 20 years or so and they have never let me down. Unfortunately my current model’s door is broken and I’m getting a knocking sound when dryer is on …sounds like a bearing ? Obviously I need a replacement now.
If anyone knows where I could purchase one, I would be delighted to hear from you.
