TBH Geoff the £10 is a discounted price that is only available to UKW members. 😉
I have heard them being touted for more already elsewhere. :rolls:

Yeah, we don’t charge as much. 😉
I can’t remember how it works out TBH Geoff but I’m sure that over two or three it changes to £5.95 and goes courier service, Interlink overnight and that’s what it costs us to send them in real cash, as in that’s what Stinkylink charges us.
Mind you we love sending stuff that way as we can track it and Starsky the van driver appears, he lost Hutch apparently, but the stunt driving is highly entertaining. We always know he’s arrived due to the screeching and the acrid smell of burnt rubber/van, hence Stinkylink.
Don’t worry, the office is just an insane place to be most days. 😉

KeymasterHi Steve,
I don’t think I got any Baumatic codes. 😕
That dishwasher looks awfully Midea/Haier though so there should be some info in there on them under various guises.

A bargain at this price and what a great idea for a book, I have ordered one off the discounted link, it will save me having bits of paper all over my van.

Got my book today, really surprised at the quality and quantity, was expecting a basic black and white effort!!!
read through it there is some really usefull info on there.
I have a slight problem tho, my boss has said i cant use it for work or keep it in my van etc as he is concerned it may be in breach of copyright????, is there anything i can show or tell him that proves otherwise.
i can still read it at home but would much prefer to carry it in my van as and when i need it!!

Show him the back cover of the book
“All content copyright UK Whitegoods Limited”
That ought to do it 😉

I think your boss may have a valid point here? In order to avoid breach of copyright in any publication there is usually a ‘disclaimer’ added. Words such as “Manufacturers names and numbers are for reference purposes only!”…and that may have been omitted in this first issue of the Fault Code Guide? Although having said that there is a copyright shown on the back cover that owns full content copyright. 😉

No not at all, that’s the point of the book, for it to be used in the field and given I wrote it an published it I think you can call that a definitive, “it’s okay to use it in the field” as that was the point of it. 😉
Asides from which using the book for your own purposes is fine, no problem at all, the only reason that the copyright is there is to save others from pinching our information and work on it.

I understand i have your permission to use it in the field, however he seems to think the manufacturers wont look too kindly on it and has told me not to use it. 🙁
