Just been asked by go local if I can repair an American type Samsung.
This is the third time I have been contacted by them to Carry out repairs.
The first 2 I told them my call out charge and they hung up.
This time they said they could work with that but I suppose they can if they don’t pay up.
I said I understand a lot of agents have had problems with payments.
The reply was only the unprofessional ones.
I declined the job as I can do without the hassle of chasing payments.
I had a customer before Christmas who booked a call with them 2 weeks before the visit date, And he had booked a days Holiday for the visit.
The Day before he was told the visit was cancelled and would have to be rebooked for after Christmas.
He told them not to bother and send back his money.
I do not know if he has had his money back yet.
I repaired it same day 9pm at night So he had a fridge for Christmas as it was Friday 21st and I was not working the weekend or Christmas Eve

What puzzles me is where the hell are they getting all these calls, and from all around the country, that they can mete so easily and so often?

2 calls Monday but I did not answer the phone to them.
1 call today I just told them I am not interested.
If they cannot get anyone in the area to cover the call
I normally get a call direct from the customer telling me they have been let down by go local and can I repair there appliance.

Hiya, I have a local pub in your area with a faulty commercial oven. Could you look at it for us please.
Have you got the make and model?

The pub is most likely called the Highwayman. Or Dick Turpin.

Viewing the CCJ’s against Daniel Paul Waterhouse makes for some interesting reading. 😉

Laws ought to be brought in to prevent proper d*cks like Mr Waterhouse disolving companies and reforming under different names when his companies go tits up.
