That is the correct part number.
I take it you have checked the heating element first?

same question , need a console for my bfi620 s/n 61107 2996 similar s/n to the last post so would guess same part, but would like to check.
I have what looks like a fried slug across a capcitor diode and a resistor 🙂
going to look if it works with the dead slug removed, but that would be really hoping…so close found another post saying
There are two different ones dependent upon serial number.
Before serial number 61020.0000 the PCB is a C00143206.
After 61201.0001 it is a C00143222.so I am inbetween these 🙁

You’ve got your serial numbers a bit mixed up there. The one you need is a C00143222.

the serial numbers for the parts is what i copied from another post. i just need to clarify it as it was confusing,
I take it that that part is available from whitegoods as the number does not show up on the parts

If you send an e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk you will get all the info regarding costs, delivery etc. 🙂
Don’t worry about the serial number mix up, just imagine how we as independents struggle, a few manufacturers would rather that we didn’t know either. 😉

Ok , found a £25 pluse vat price for the c00143222 but now told that it is for serials from 61129.xxxx etc which differs from the information that I have already as I have a machine with serial 61107.xxxx so being told by the hotpoint spares seller I should order the C00143206 part ????
Any more help on which before I possible waste my money on a non refundable part..

Might be local but I’m snowed in, took me a good while to get out this morning, really struggled to get back home later this afternoon. On the hilly side of Shaw, near to Saddleworth.

Hi all
New to this forum, but it’s already been a big help. I have the flashing cycle 4 light too. I want to check the heater element before replacing the PCB. How would I go about testing the heater?
Many thanks
