If you have a DI620 then you should have the heating element that is visible inside the tub, under the lower spray arm. This one does fail but nowhere near as much as the internal, tube type element.
Access to the heater terminals are from underneath, mains plug out, tilt over on left hand side from front onto several large towels and remove base. You will need a meggar or suitable multimeter to check the element. Chances are that it will be the module though.

Sorry I didnt come back to confirm fix for dishwasher, it was the control pcb.
I honestly didnt think it would fix it, cos there where no signs of damage and all components tested okay.
But there you have it, you guys rock !!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank for all your help and saving me the dreaded Indesit call out charge 🙂
Thanks so much !!!
For future reference u could always call your nearest repair centre for the area your situated.. or ask around, there is always someone u know who will of had dealings with a good repair centre.
Theres always a standard callout charge with major manufactures and from many customers own mouth they are quite high, sometimes half the price of actually replacing the product with a new one these days and a brand new 12 months warranty thrown in.
Agood local repair centre will more than likely in many situations be able to diagnose and repair your appliance for a good bit less that some manufactures actual initial call out charge.

Two different boards, would need your full serial number to identify.

C00143222 is the correct PCB for that machine. If you want to risk giving it a go then an e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should get you price and delivery details.
Bear in mind that these parts are non refundable.

Thanks Jim, that’s great.
I emailed spares@…. Apparently they’re unable to get the PCB that I need. Do you know of anywhere else that might stock it?
Thanks

😕
I have read this thread and need a little help, I have the same problem and have tested the element, (reading of 27), so that’s okay. The next is thermostat, reading of 0.2, is this right? Or does it need replacing? I don’t want to buy a PCB if this is the problem.August 7, 2009 at 8:36 am #234870iadom

Points towards a PCB fault. What you have tested is the safety stat, the temp control is via an NTC which is hard wired to the PCB. You would normally test a stat for continuity rather than resistance, it is a normally closed circuit safety stat.
I have never personally changed a safety stat on one of these, lots of PCB’s and heating elements.
