is it just me being unlucky?
this last ten days or so ive attempted to order at least 20 different items that i would call usual stock, only to consistently find them listed as out of stock. as masterpart were my other usual supplier, i’m seriously looking to revitalise some extinct accounts.how do you guys find electrue or homespare just now.
i should say ive found maddocks stock to be sketchy as well when looking with a mates log-in

Many pattern spares are manufactured in the EU. So could it be GBP against the Euro causing the stock shortages?

This is genuine stuff as well but I suppose the same logic applies. Four more items out of stock since I first posted.

would that affect stock levels? they would just bung the price up.

Well well……and I was going to ring Qualtex in the morning to tell them that I could have spent the £2K that went to Connect last month with them, but if they had no stock, I couldn’t buy it. So therefore I cannot be responsible for dropping down the ‘rankings’ table. Simple things like regular fodder Bosch dishwasher heat pumps – out of stock.
At least it’s not just me that’s affected.
Maybe the acquisition of Masterpart and Jegs has stretched them a bit? Could this be the reason for a shocking lack of stock? Hopefully they get back on track as I find Qualtex are usually really good. Felt a bit guilty giving it all to Connect, but I feel I have no option at the moment I’m afraid.Steve.

Exactly the same as me Steve, have had heat pumps on back order now since 19th Jan. yet BSH themselves and connect have them so no stock shortages there which means only one thing as far as I can see, credit issues, the same as we would have if we didnt settle our account.

To be fair, I think Qualtex struggle with their decentralised warehouse system. So, for example, BSH heat pump 651956 is showing out of stock on my account (shipped from Denton), whereas their eBay retail arm LM Electrical (possibly shipped from North West Depot, as used by their ASW retail offshoot) show 2 in stock.
It seems crazy that their eBay price is significantly cheaper than on my Qualtex account once VAT and delivery are taken into account. Maddox are currently offering me the best price, 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} cheaper than Qualtex taking into account the cost of delivery.
