ParticipantDoes anyone know of this machine?

That is supposed to read “reason washing machine”, but there appears to be odd formatting going on here.

Oh dear God, it’s a Dishdrawer washer! 😆
Seriously, from my perspective without any more info than the website delivers, that is SO flawed it’s unreal.
10kg load in a 600mm confine, yeah right and pigs fly too.
Stability issues spring to mind immediately.
Runners going faulty as people overload it as they always do yet claim they never do.
Detergent automatic? Don’t you think that if it were that easy someone would have done it long ago? I can think of two detergent companies with millions to throw at that problem who still can’t find the solution there after years of trying. Instead we have tablets and pouches and even they don’t always work.
What happens when it fails to spin, through failure or imbalance and isn’t under a worktop? Probably, it will tip forward and crush some poor persons toes… but we’ll gloss over that…
Sorry, but it just looks to have more holes in the premise than a good Swiss cheese would and, the above, is in under 5 minutes looking at it.
Long term reliability I’d be incredibly suspicious of in all honesty, too many things to go wrong with that design, easily.
But hey, what do I know about designing a washing machine, it could be the best thing since sliced bread but then, they said that about the Dyson washer and the Titan Monotub too. 😉

Did you notice the “Reason” name? It seems to be in a font that looks like Dyson’s.
I thought the same thing, that the drawer will be the first thing to break. It shoogles as the guy in the video pushes it back into place.
As for detergent dispensing, I believe that Miele has a washer that feeds itself liquid detergent. Powders would be pretty useless, as they clump and clog.

Could just be trying to play on the name/font.
That drawer idea really is a recipe for disaster, just think about how it engages the drive and seals. I can see it’d only be a splash seal in certain areas like a dishwasher, but still the washing machine is a harsher environment in many ways.
Yeah you can get a Miele to do that as far as I know but, as you say, liquid detergent and we know how that goes even allowing for the clogging etc. :rolls:

Tank in the bottom is an interesting idea – “natural heating” and weight. However, it’s the drum that needs the weight…..
Any idea who’s cooked this one up?

No idea who cooked it up, but the website has a countdown timer.
Maybe that is how long this machine will last!
Apparently the website is registered to one Andrew Reason of Haverfordwest.

Do you think this is some sort of joke? I think the mechanics of the machine will be put under some strain.

I’ve no idea I’d not seen that one or heard anything about it, which is unusual.
Whether it’s a joke or not I really don’t know either but, it certainly looks as if it’s going to be a box of trouble IMO. To make that work, seal and perform as advertised would take a lot of engineering and even if it did work my guess is it wouldn’t be cheap.

That machine has to be a wind up, perhaps it is literally. 😆
Who’s going to be the first to ‘contact’ them… 😉

I just wonder, not reason…
Who are they as I’ve never heard of them and that’s pretty unusual. 😕
Who underwrites the 10 year warranty, if anyone?
Who is servicing it?
Where and who is building it?
Who is bankrolling it?
So may questions… no answers.

if you google (which I imagine you have done ) there is a patent on it with a business address as well.
