Nope.
Been a tad busy with a few other things. 😉
So far as I can see you should be able to do it. But it’s a permissions thing that could take me hours to get to the bottom of and, frankly, I don’t have the time ATM to do it.

I was referring to being able to get an icon up alongside the pm and www Don. No-one so far, that I’ve noticed anyway, has such an icon.(as a rule looks like an envelope). If you look at Ken’s he has icons for pm, www, msn and yim but no email?
I hope you catch my drift?:D

Do bear in mind Martin that I’m learning the new system as much as anyone and there’s a lot of things I haven’t sussed yet.
What that function allows you to do is to send the user an email via the board but it does not actually show your email address so that they cannot be harvested by spammers. So, no attachments etc.

Bl**dy hell I’ll say. Works a treat too as I’ve sent myself a test email.:D
What’s so super dooper about that icon facility is that everyone could, in effect, have one without the need to disclose their actual email address in public view, doing away with the constant frustration of asking someone for their email address…..BRILLIANT! 😯

Indeed, just sent a test one to myself it worked fine.
Shame about the attachment bit though but I understand the reasons why.
If we need to send an attachment we can always pm the user for their email addy and do it away from the board.

It’s a global setting only bar admin so, every user now shares the functionality I think.
The “no attachment” thing is to prevent our server from getting spanked any more than it presently is. 😉
