I have tried it several times, well used to using this system on V bulletin ( not sure if I ever mentioned that ) 😛 🙂
I have tried to upload small jpeg’s and gifs but get a message in red text above the post saying ‘cannot upload’ bla, bla…
As mentioned earlier it completely rejects txt & pdf files.

Can you try it now Jim?
File permissions for the folder on the server were incorrect.

Its working, very nice.. 8)
One thing I have noticed ( not tried it in Chrome yet ) when you click on ‘Upload attachment’ then hover over Browse, the Browse button is not blue and the cursor does not change to the little hand symbol, it still works when you click it to open the files on your PC though.
I did try Chrome last night and you get a slightly different option after clicking upload attachment on that.

Every one has it’s little “bugs”. :rolls:

One other thing…. 😀
All of the old posts with links to images in various locations are still showing as url’s inside image tags instead of showing the image.
It will be nigh on impossible to trawl through them all and resize them or edit the url’s.Will there be a way to resolve this ‘in the pipeline’?

Not really no.
Unless you fancy the pain of the upgrade all over again and a few hours offline? 😉

Will just have to hope that anyone who is looking at an old post is savvy enough to be able to strip out the url from inside the image tags. 🙂
Lots and lots of very useful pictures were posted on the old forum TBH.
I suppose we could always do it for them on an ad hoc basis if we are referring a poster to an old post or picture.
Also, are you turning the auto correct on and off, it is working on some posts but not on others. ❓
I often use iespell to check posts but it will not work with this post because it is auto correcting and gives me different options if I highlight and then right click. 😕

Indeed, not worth the aggravation IMO also. 😉
Auto-correct is a function of the browser and OS, not the forum. So, not got a clue.

Now that is strange, auto correct is not working on this post but it was on the last one. ❓
it was just like using MS Word or similar with the little red squiggles under the incorrect spellings etc.
I haven’t altered any browser settings either.
The mind boggles. :hmm:

Getting some parts of the options boxes overlaying. This has happened in the past 30 minutes on both IE and Chrome.
The ‘Jump to’ is overlaying the ‘Quick mod tools’ menu.
This one is on Chrome.

Yeah, I get it every now and again (randomly) in Safari as well on here and other sites and, so far as I can find out it’s a browser thing with the code. 😕

Facebook is the worst one for me, its all over the place even after refreshing. :rolls:
Its a good job I don’t spend much time there, I would soon get peed off with it.
