I’m having a week of financial tussles with my Asian customers however today this took the biscuit when it came to payment time.’Can you make the bill smaller as we have to send money to our relatives in Pakistan’.They had a brand new white Scirocco outside.I’m afraid they got short a short reply and money was paid reluctantly in full.
I’ve got stock answers for most of these customers e.g. Q.’Is that your best price’
A.’I dont ask you for your best price when I get in your taxi/takeaway/resteraunt’
Money is usually forthcoming.March 7, 2012 at 1:10 pm #363936robedoo

Just picked up an answerphone message:
“Got a Bosch Classix tumble dryer making a lot of noise and a burning smell. Could you call me back with your call out charge etc. Wondering if it’s just a fuse.”Think customer may not be quite clear about what a fuse is.

Sounds like a typical Saturday morning call
Had a call left on my answer phone last Saturday morning at 11:45.
“Its an urgent call I think my filter may be blocked and I need you out this morning, if your not there or unable to call please phone me back straight away then I can find someone else call me on my mobile number as I might be out”

Cafe/take away owner “Hi we have moved a drinks fridge and its not working now”
I said it wont without the front on, saw this, owner “we had to take the light panel off to get it in surely it’s only the light we took off it should still work”
Plugged in and switched on! 😯
no it’s the thermostat wiring plus you have broken the thermostat phial/tube
he said”can’t you solder it?”
I just walked out the door, brainless doesn’t come close.
The same guy cleaned his range cooker a few years ago with a pressure washer and then rang me and said it’s gone bang.

Had one yesterday, Indesit dishwasher.
He said “it was full of water and the lights were flashing, I could see some screws in the base under the water so I unscrewed them all. The water seemd to drain away but when I switched it back on it went pop and now it doesn’t do anything”. :rolls:
