So how’s the e-bay spares selling experiment going Martin? I had high hopes of that.

Good question Mike….In fact I’ve taken a side-step with another mate on the eBay thing and no longer do it directly…can’t elaborate much beyond, but suffice to say I’m hopeful the world wide wonder will help toward funding my dotage…. 😀

Hello, 3 weeks now its been very quiet, if it was not for the warranty work & sales i doubt i could make ends meet, its the same old story Cuts are mentioned again on the news and people stop spending, how long can companies that have overheads like shops, staff on the road etc carry on ?, maybe its just us in the south west at the moment, i spoke to a service agent who works for one of the manufactures he covers Devon & Cornwall averaging about 3 jobs a day !.

Yep, the last 3 weeks have been awfull!! If I could have predicted it I would have taken them as holliday. Just about managed to make a small wage this week but it really isnt good!!
Where are all the good jobs these days? I cant remember the last time I fitted a circular fan element to an oven or a pump to a washing machine. It seems to be all the c**p jobs that are filtering through if any at all .
Im just glad in a way that it isnt only me because at the start of it I was begining to think it was and the paranoia was kicking in..September 20, 2010 at 7:51 am #372406GPservice
