A company called squareupprovide a dongle for your mobile phone for swiping payment cards. It seems to be US based only at the moment but it can only be a matter of time….

Where would you recommend I should try? Most suppliers I’ve tried only do a mixed bag of fridges, cookers and a few hoods and I’m only interested in laundry atm.

Have a look at the brushes. You get similar symptoms on hotpoint wmas and wds where you can select the program, the door locks but the door lock led does not light and nothing else happens. The last one I saw had a busted TOC on the motor.

Have a look at the suppressor. I’ve seen similar symptoms on a dishwasher.
Post back relevant information from Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer>Application
Problems are hight lighted with a handy error symbol.

I checked the wires for continuity and to earth. It is the module at fault. So… I’ll be giving EMW a call today. Thanks Guys.

It’s a ctd 40 but I’ld appreciate the same info on an 85 as well for another job tomorrow.
