Defo two man job with machine on back with a trolley. I’ve cut my fingers something silly trying to do it on my own.

Re: AEG washer dryer – Timer resetting to zero on dryer prog

I replaced that last year. Can see it working away at the mo. But it could be intermittent so I’m popping by this afternoon and watch it go.

I should mentioned that I cleared the gunk from the condenser and checked the wires on the stat.

    Re: WMA64 door wont lock

I’ve had similar problems before, found that if there is 240v on the door lock connector than usually it’s just a bad contact.

Squeezing the contacts together usually sorts it.

I had to replace a console pcb on one of these yesterday. Try a spare if you have one first.

Trace the blown components to the source.I’m guessing it’s not the heating element, or pressure switch. Everything else is a Culprit IMO.

Are you getting live to the stats?
What resistance is there on the elements?

    Sorry if this obvious.

    Re: Using Search facility

I’m hoping I’m not preaching to the choir here.

The best way to search IMO is using the asterisk character. Using asterisk would help with Martins issue for ZWF machines. The asterisk is a wildcard character, like the question mark character and others.

    http://www.googleguide.com/wildcard_operator.html

I’ve just posted a question regarding a WF541 machine. Searching for WF541 returns 37 results, but it’s too wide. Searching for “WF541 f01” Only returned 1 result using the second radio button.

I found much more help using “wf* f01” and the second radio button.

Maybe, the second radio button should be the default, then we wouldn’t need to use regular expressions like: AND, OR.

I got similar problems on a nextra hnl2126.
Needed new brushes, duely done, but now, the spin struggles with the usual weight.

I’ld appreciate a test PDF to see what’s occurring.

Is there a capacitor on this motor?

    Re: Few12 program module help

For future reference, the wires on the board going to the pressure switch and the heating element were crossed.

in the past this had the effect of not releasing the door lock, but on FEW machines causes no fast spin. Luckily, the pcb has not been affected.
