    Re: Second Hand Smeg Fridge/Freezer

    Hi

I would assume that the pipe that was encased with ice (frost /snow) was the slightly thickest one coming from inside the casing to the compressor ?.

If that is the case then the cause would either be over charge of refrigerant or the unit running in excess which then causes the refrigerant to build up in the suction line.

A refrigeration engineer should be able to advise once seen.

    Re: Gas Safe Inspector

    Hi

The last inspection that I had last year i advised that things like hob tops, thermocouple and ignition generators was changed by my son who’s not gas safe registered and part of his routine was to gas sniff anything accessible,If gas was found then the house would be isolated and transco contacted.Advised NO gas pipe or fitting was disturbed ect and he had no problems with this.
He even commented on an inspection he went out to due to gas leak which we had changed the hob top on a few weeks before and agreed that it wouldn’t come into our cover as the parts was only cosmetic.
I dont think there is still any clarification across the board and each inspector has there own view.

Uneven load, unable to complete spin, blockage in air tube ass ?
Is it fully pumping out ?
is it going into a full spin ?
have you removed the pressure hose ?
is it distributing the load correctly ?

Element wouldn’t cause a fault at the end of the wash.

Re: Samsung Fridge Freezer RS21DCNS Internal Cracking

    Hi

As an EX samsung engineer I can confirm that IF the cracks are on the SIDES of the freezer compartment then this could NOT be caused by yourself. If the cracks are on the BASE of the appliance then dependent on pictures it COULD be caused by items being dropped .

Re: Samsung Fridge Freezer RS21DCNS Internal Cracking

    Hi

This isn’t a common problem with this model but it can happen on any fridge due to expansion compression of the plastic when it cools down or heats up.The liner SHOULD be of a standard to withstand this movement though. How old is the appliance?

    Hi

Send the customer back to samsung and tell her to demand that due to samsungs faulty design and the faulty part requiring to change the whole harness and thermal cut outs and PCB and the model has been modified due to the PCB failures she is holding them responsible.
