Hi Dave,

I have by-passed the thermostat this morning and the compressor has stayed on continuous and the temperature has dropped dramatically and is currently @ -10 and dropping!!

I hope this gives you a better insight to the problem.

When i have done as you say the fridge compressor stops responding and the temperature starts to rise in the compartment again.

I assume it is the thermostat that is causing the problem, where is the best place to get them from, i live in Cheshire.

Thanks for the reply Dave – I made a mistake, having read the book the settings are between 2 and 6 (not -2). Its still not getting any colder. Can anyone tell me if you can get fridges which go any colder than these settings or would this be the “norm” these days.

Looks like I might have to go get the Electrolux back off the council tip 🙄

sorry.. just thought of something else..

do you know anything about the 2 year g’tee with the BOSCH machines? i heard something about having to register for the second year.. ? how does that work and what is it all about? why dont they just give 2nd year the same way as the first?

im just being a bit paranoid i guess.. but its a must that the machine i get has that 2 year g’tee.. the reason i was looking in john lewis to start with was that they give a 2 year g’tee with all their machines… but then found out that BOSCH seem to give 2 years where ever you buy it… or is it not as simple as that.. ?

i thought i posted this earlier but somehow it didnt appear… hmm…

sorry to keep bugging you guys but…

ive heard something about this BOSCH WFL2066 being cold water only? meaning it doesnt need attaching to the hot water thingy… ?

is that a good thing? +’s and -‘s?
what do i do with the hot water inlet in that case?

ive also seen ref to an LED that counts down how long is left on the wash on some sites but not on others.. i think this model doesn’t have that but im not sure… does anyone know for sure? it’d be a nice bonus but isnt nessesary…

The recruitment can’t be going too well then as the amount of hotberloni work we are receiving keeps going up…thanks D&G, for supporting us, your network.Perhaps you should consider returning to the good old days when we did most of the work……..
I hope D&G can extend and increase this supply of work and if the customer feedback we get and I Quote ” it takes hotberloni over 2 weeks to respond to calls” then this work may well be a very nice xmas present.

However D&G will be beaten with the stick that if we(hotberloni) don’t do the work we won’t sell your policies, oh by the way can you help us out we find ourselves a little short of engineers at the mo…its a temporary hitch….we are investing in a new infrastructure ect ect ect….

So witout taking a long term view…thanks hotberloni for the work we are now getting, and don’t worry we know how to do the customer care bit and of course how to fix the appliance also(after all its only a hotpoint)
