The real scary thing is that it will require continued investment by each of us into our own business to survive and comply with forthcoming rules and regs…but where is the profit to enable us to do this.It certainly is not generated by £30.00 per call, even £35.00 will be tight unless 1st time fix is spot on.

The expected hike in interest rates today and in the next few months will only drain us more and hit all our customers in their pockets.

Best tighten your belts for a very cold winter….

The evening went very well (guess what we called the guy) the fireworks and bonfire all went up in smoke and vast quantities of liquid were supped, much like recent pre Dasa evenings.

No one is in for an easy ride out of this…….Connect will be pressed hard by coverplan for good results and will inturn expect a good job done by their agents.

In short there will be nowhere to hide for all of us and we will have to perform to retain the work.If we perform and that means everyone there is other work in the pipeline from coverplan(no specifics at the mo)

Connect want everyone signed up as direct as over the next three months the amount owing to agents thro NESN WILL DIMINISH TO VERY MANAGABLE LEVELS.There is NO answer on the question of what then ….suffice to say that connect can give three months notice any time they want.
This has come from the very top of connect and you must not repeat to any one as I have had conversations with the top two people that dave parker does not know about.

take the oppertunity to go direct keep your head down reduce the indebtedness of NESN to you and be grateful you are a member of the warrroom and privy to the info that I put in my letter THAT THE WORK WILL NOT REMAIN WITH NESN

I book all 2 x man jobs as 1st call as its easier to get 2 x engineers together without losing time.I also where I can charge a double private rate£135.00 inc.

Expensive ,yes, but this is about being paid for our labours and thats my rate.

I would urge everyone to relax about letters ect. I have been called worse and its water off a ducks back to me.
