    seems to be working just fine.
    Can I turn just the freezer off to completely thaw it and re-start it, or is there something else can try

    yes that is the best option but it will need 24Hrs with the freezer door left open whilst defrosting it.

    the food is wasted though

    If I am correct then this is a pyro oven that does not have a standard seal but a seal on the actual door.

    The seal is in stock with GIAS and is available from myself PM me for costs ect.

    it looks like all talks are off the table and that is it for Baumatic, not good for the staff, and not good for companies like us who do direct warranty work with Baumatic and have a warehouse full of there appliances. 😥

    If you buy from a multi store then probably not as they will normally just want to sell. Where do you live as a local WTA member may well be able to help and advise.

    Model number will be on the outer cabinet of the oven as well if you pull it out..

    How old and do you have a photo of it.

    It should be a standard defrost timer as The same unit was sold under several names including Frigidaire,Cant find the matching model though yet.
