Another silly question ..what was it for .. remember the old whirlpool diplomat integrated dishwashers .the bottom cover had like a white nut right in center and the other end was shaped like a dart ? What was it for ? As it didn’t even connect to anything ?

Lol they can be a pain .these jobs for just a small thing .. sometimes have to replace the valves and s dispenser hopper top ..:mad:

Says error in reading reset/off position on programe selector .not something silly like a broken knob ? Never had it tbh 😉

where would buy the diode from ? maplin these places all gone .. online take it ?

what components do you replace to fix the boards . and where do you get them .. ie resistors .. chips . and dont you need special soldering equipment ? anti static bands ect if replacing chips ?

omg after taken oven out about 6 times. fitting a new double grill switch . testing everything for hrs . it was all down to the top oven knob.broken inside . turned top oven on . but not properly off ..thanks dave i read bit on manual . i was nearly buying a selector switch too:rolleyes:

lol its in a cellar in a guest house . so it could well be .. no room to move .. so he can call indesit .. although they might not entertain as a guest house mmmm :rolleyes:
