Hi fasetester,
further to what Jim said, sometimes if a coin or something has been rattling round the drum it bursts a hole in the frontplate where the fixing clips attach.

Hi Andy,
I wasn’t sure if it was a BDH5 because the label on the door was a bit scuffed. BDH6 was written in the user manual.

Thought I’d update this post.
Turned out to be sticky selector buttons due to the fact that kettle and coffee making ingredients were on the work top above machine. Sloppy people 👿Alan
