Jackal, if you are at the meeting next week, buy me a pint and I’ll pay that invoice for you. 😀

ParticipantRe: Rejected Claims
This gets worse.
It now seems 3 of my rejections were because there was a label on the appliance with a 20 digit number on it. I put this on the jobsheet. The serial number seemingly is only the first 9 digits of this so they rejected them.
I have better things to do with my time than play these petty games.

“reasonable time” ?
We have been given 3 days to find the correct serial numbers or get debited! Including the ones from nearly 2 years ago.
That p1sses me off!
I agree with your statement about them having a death wish with getting future service from Indies.

So from what you are saying, Am I right in thinking that a WP can just take money off your payment and say you didn’t provide the correct serial number on a job 6 years ago?

Squadman, this is the main thing to concentrate on. If you sell an appliance and the customer doesn’t register it then Amica don’t know who sold it and then the service call is a lottery. If I were you I would register the appliance for the customer and then you are assured of any service work on that appliance.bazza500
