ParticipantRe: Why is it….
Because no one else will go back to them because they probably haven’t been paid either.
Tell them you need paid for the last call and your fee upfront for the call you are away to do.

Thought about that Mike, but why would it select a 1600 spin on wools? It shouldn’t let you even if you wanted to.

ParticipantRe: RepairCare Rate reduction issues
Yeah, just read that. All mouth and no trousers!
I have received the letter today and called the regional manager informing him that from the 1st of July I will not be doing calls at the reduced rate. Between you, me and the gate post ( and I hate admitting Ken was right 😀 ) he said leave it with him and he will speak to his manager as my situation is special. 8)
To be honest I have nothing to lose as at £31 per call it would cost me to do them.
I would be grateful if this info wasn’t leaked into the public domain yet as nothing has been agreed and there may not be many people refusing at the moment therefore it may not be too difficult to narrow down where it is coming from.

ParticipantRe: Subs
Is it a time issue that they have not been done?
If so, if you can send me a template of the invoice in excel and a list of members then I can get the office woman(was going to write girl but she’s too old for that) to address, print and send them out. I mean she does nothing else all day anyway….
Can you tell she has no access to this site? 😀bazza500
ParticipantRe: DSG/RepairCare Rate Cuts
Would there be any chance of keeping this important and serious thread on topic?
What I will add is that I am an RC agent and until now have not been formally informed of their proposed rate cut although I have no doubt it is coming.
Is there any other agents who are yet to be informed?

If you look at the label inside the door there is a clue…
It says “Made in China”

Have you had the letter Ade?

ParticipantRe: RepairCare Rate reduction issues
I still have had no confirmation of a rate cut other than what I have read on the RC forum so until I do I will send back any jobs that come my way with a lower labour rate than present requesting a cancellation due to incorrect labour rate.
I can confirm one of my posts on RC forum has been deleted by M. Parkes and the content of it was purely the rumour of the new rates of £31, £33 and £37 and saying I would not do jobs for these rates as I am in a very rural area.
Should we not post something in the WTA forum just to “test the water” and see how many members are RC agents. As Ken says many SP’s may not post on a forum where RC can read it as many use the same username on both but if I am correct then RC don’t have access to the WTA forum.
If WTA and DASA RC agents stood together surely RC could not operate the DSG contract at this poor level of payment.
I basically don’t give a shit about losing RC work but if they cancelled my spares account I would have to open some others pretty sharpish. 🙂

ParticipantRe: RepairCare Rate reduction issues
As you’ve probably seen from my posts on Repaircaretalk forum I am an agent as well but no where near the turnover you are getting from them. I will be kicking them into touch if the rumour of £31 per call is correct.
The problem I see is that as soon as you leave there will be someone who will do the calls at that rate however they will struggle in the areas I cover.
I think we need to find out how many RC agents are part of the WTA and see if they want represented.

ParticipantRe: Fridge/Freezers in store
If it has been stored upright then it can be switched on immediately. If it was stored on it’s side then leave for 8 hours upright before switching on.
