I`m currently buying diesel at 128.9p. So at 129.1p plus a 3p surcharge this isn`t looking like such a great deal after all.

I requested Shell cards but today received Total cards. Just phoned and was told I can use them at Shell but there is a 3p per litre surcharge 😯 .
I am waiting on them phoning me back.
According to the directory I got with my cards there are no Total stations in Scotland.

It sometimes only takes an hour whereas it normally takes an hour????
I`ve had a vestel machine take the softener straight away. Replaced dispenser lid and that fixed it.Re: Homeserve Franchises?

I was at a call for homeserve through CDSL and asked the customer a few questions.
She paid £110 up front to Homeserve but was told if her dishwasher was not worth repairing she would get £55 refund.
The amount I was allowed to spend on parts without authorisation was £17.63.
The part was well above the limit so the customer ended up paying £55 inc Vat to be told her appliance was a write off. Now I get £35+vat and CDSL must get a cut, leaving Homeserve with nearly nothing.
No wonder they want to try and get to the engineers directly but who in their right mind is going to pay an annual fee to a company with no track record and no guarantee of any return?

.Personally, if it`s under warranty I wouldn`t go opening it up you could invalidate any guarantee you have.
Just call the engineer back, by this time he`ll probably stick a new pcb in just in case. Intermittent wierd faults like the one you`re describing are very hard to diagnose sometimes.
