ParticipantRe: help with Hotpoint WF340
Was it being used in a cold damp room? This can cause condensation on the boards and all kind of wierd faults. Sometimes taking it into a nice warm workshop is enough to solve it.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WM52P Timer blown?
Hi,
I`ve had quite a few of these that the door lock goes and takes the track off the timer at the front.
I think if you look more closely the black wire from the front track goes to the interlock.
Replace them both and you should be fine.

ParticipantRe: Servis M6504w
no, this is a common fault on Servis machines.
The only problem I`ve had is if they have damaged the fascia with the knife blade. May be worth taking a piece of smoothish sandpaper with you in case you need to take the rough edges of the button hole to stop the new one catching.

It`s probably the rubber button cover you need The plastc button splits from the rubber and then sticks in.
