    Re: Renting Appliances

    I wouldn`t rent Whirlpool machines.
Although the warranty would be covered as you`re only using them domestically, after the first year you have to repair them and Whirlpool spares are horrendously priced.

Why not buy Ise2`s? Not much dearer to supply and 2 year warranty AND if they break down you get paid to fix them in guarantee.

    Re: Schreiber Fridge/freezer part. APM6852

I need one of those as well but the picture on the Connect site is not what I’m after. Does anyone know if the picture is wrong and if this is the correct part no.

The part I need sits inside the fridge compartment behind the stat knob whereas the one on connect looks like it is the type that is mounted above the door.

    Any help appreciated.

according to Connect part no. is E87392 but it’s obsolete. Don’t believe everything you read on their site though.

At the back on the lid. Where you have already taken the screws out then just above that on the actual lid. Usually sunk in and difficult to get a socket on.

Re: whirlpool on/ off switch query

I had this not long agoand it was a packing error. The switch also worked the wrong way round, i.e. it was on when out and off when in.
