I just need to know if they are interchangable electricly. Yes the terminals are different as you say but snipping off the plug and a couple of spade ends would deal with that.
Relay is ok its the thermister terminal that is broken.
Their resistances are similar which leads me to believe I can do a swap.

Came across something similar and it turned out to be a blocked vent hose to the soap box. (pressure in drum?)
A while back so not certain of the model.

I can order the part from Zanussi with the usual, “out of stock”, “don’t know when it will be in”, “non returnable”, “special order”.
But just wondered if any of you lot out there knew of a supply that was a little less vague.
Thanks anyway.

I think I’ll ask Tony at EMW if he has any vacancies, this looks like a good little money spinner.

Thanks Baron, but that was the problem. Turned knob to 12 o’clock and it carried on with the orig’ prog.
Couldnt find a way to abort it.
Unpluged for at least a minute, drained the water with a fly lead to pump. Opened door, restet a new spin prog and same again.
Just waited till spin had finished.
The orginal fault was that the door lock light decided to start flashing when the machine was switched off.
If I had hair I would be pulling it out.
Will wait to hear from customer and keep you posted.Tony
