Thanks Pinky, I came to the conclusion that Beko were not a subsidiary of Miele but do you know if the timer motor is supposed to run continuously?

That was one of my first thoughts when I got the call but found the washing machine and dishwasher both drain into the same standpipe via a “tee” non return fitting.
Incedentaly, she has phoned again, worked ok on a delicates prog but is still playing up on the synthetics.
Another look tomorrow … sigh!bigkid

Nope, never found the need but that aside I know Hotpoint, used to work for them when it was BDA so pride myself in knowing a bit about them but one with a ceramic seal had me thinking.
Incidentally it was the forum moderator who posted about ceramic seals so putting 2 and 2 together thought he knew what he was talking about.Tony

Methinks confusion over the Hoover ceramic ring and carbon faced seal but like I said, couldnt find the model and thought well, you know what bodges there are out there…… 😯

Cant seem to find a reference to it, models jump from 9556 then start again at 9560.
