Re: Call / Appointment / Customer Manager

I paid £75 – £100 for what I use and it works quite happily. Bought it from a DASA member who had it done for himself. I cannot remember who!

YES in the past, Beware they are a funny lot! Spares a bit pricy and when I did for them they were taking £100.00 from customers for an installation and we got about half. Little sister of ROBOT COUPE.

What ever you do do not send them to QER if it is any thing more than a simple repair as they cannot repair them. Also they have a girl/woman working for them who will tell you that if there is not motor action to tighten the belt! I do not know how that will help!

As a DASA member I have to do all tests which includes EARTH LOOP IMPEDANCE test this would tell you if some thing is wrong with the wireing/socket or the machine.

    Re: Flu Jab?

Yes the best thing I have ever done. Jabbed for the last couple years with no problems. Why is it that customers are of work because they are ill but we as engineers are expected to go and repair the washing machine while they sneeze all over the place. So far so good I have not got the plage. Have a nice holiday, The wife and I are off to Norway to stay with our son and his wife this evening.

There is another way of getting your banking costs down. i.e. trade under your own name bank into your personal account (FREE) and for a triffling amount tranfer at the end of the month electronicaly to your business account. They still sting you for BACS payments and direct debits but if you put in a lot of cheques it can save you a bit, also you make a little intrest on your personal account.

Yes it sound like you may be having a problem with the thermocouples or the amount of travel in the tap shaft.
