I eventually found what was causing the prob after reading another post .It was the green solonoid I just replaced the coil and it worked fine.

I just rang my supplier and gave him the model and s/n of the m/c. I thought the modules came pre programmed. I have heard of these smart cards and readers are they expensive and do you have to get a new one for every module?

    Cheers Tom.

    Re: module for vtd60g

Hi I have fitted both display pcb and base mounted module.I ordered the base mounted module first and fitted it and it did not work so I ordered the display pcb. This is what happens I plug in the m/c and the display flickers for a second and just dies but when I keep the on button pressed f12 appears on the display and the clean filter neon lights up.I have put back on the old base mounted module but the same thing happens . I have not programmed the new module but when the old module is giving the same code is there any need to?

Hi I ended up getting both pcbs and now im getting f12 error code on the uk whitegoods error code book it says this is no communicartion between the boards for wash m/c is it the same for dryer. I have squeezed the connectors and even put a new set on . Is there some procedure I should follow when fitting new display and module?

Hi Jackster you were right it had got caught on the door and the copper wire was exposed and so causing the tripping when the door opened.

Thanks for the info Steve I did the tests you sugested and everything ok I found a piece of plastic in the hose going to the outlet pump and it did the full cycle the next wash so I thought I was sorted but the wash after that gave the same prob . the m/c is doing a lot of vibrating could this be causing the prob.

I agree and I did advise the customer that he should think about this as I did find condensation on the brush holders.
