Hi guys I replaced the heating element but that did not solve the prob I then changed the thermistor and that seemed to do the trick . I stayed with it for an hour but had to go out on a call and when I came back it had stopped with the water still in it,I then reset it and started the same wash again but this time it would not heat the water or on any of the rest of the other washes. I checked the element and there is power going to it. does anyone have any ideas?

Sorry Chris the info I was given was that it was heating up the water at the start of the cycle but the water went cold and did not heat up anymore . I called today and its not heating the water at all I cheked the element and its 28 ohms and there is power going to it .I have ordered a new element even though it seems ok . Can anyone think of anything I might be missing?

Hopefully it will be moved im new to this forum and just starting out on my own. There is a lot of damage to one area on the board an one of the connnectors is blackened and thats going to the light on the door. So maybe it is the door switch.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi lifters
Thanks Dave there is no screws on these lifters its a clip that you push down on through the middle hole of the lifter to take it off. My prob was that I could not push it back up after i refitted the lifter but thanks to you I got to it from the sump hole. thanks again Dave.
