Re: Rattling Fridgemaster Freezer (44 sec video of issue)
I have had that same fault on a few of these, it is normally the freezer evaporator pipe inside just below the bottom draw, it rattles on the retaining clip. a quick tighten and its sorted.

If it is intermittent noise its not the bearings, but the recirculating pump does this when the jets get blocked.

I have had this problem quite a few years back and it was the motor that caused this problem, it got very hot in the first 5 min of operation.

I Have to admit that i miss these meet ups, but not being an independent outfit now and not having the time for the last 10 years, i wish you all a good meeting and keep up the good work. to all the new faces that will be attending it is well worth it.

It will be the selector switch as Lawrence suggests. its a quite common failing on these ovens.

I am located in the North East of England approximately 20 miles south of Newcastle upon Tyne, that is if your question is directed to me, I would be glad to help anyone with refrigeration training via telephone support or internet based, I have had my surgical operation and now in recovery, so I will be seeking employment again soon. the trouble is I do not have workshop facilitys any longer, I have the time as I am now unemployed due to waiting for a hospital operation, but the offer of online and telephone support still stands.

evaporator fan failing is definitely the fault on this.
