thsts not part of the drain hose it will be from an old non return valve, just remove it.

remove the freezer evaporator cover and you will find the reason, the lower air return vent will be blocked with ice.

the module has been fitted incorrectly, there is a small tab that needs to be snapped off and the module needs to be programmed for the correct model, I will try and dig out the way of doing this as its about 2 years since I last done it. LOL.

to be honest silverdale if you cannot revove the top of the machine i would call in the local repair agent as the repair is not as easy as you think.

it all depends if the bolts and screws have just come loose or are the mounting luggs broken off.

please stop using your appliance as more damage will be done, the fault is the dryer housing has broken away from the tub assembly, it may be repairable without parts if has just started to be noisy.
