ParticipantRe: Indesit Water Warning?
Right, answered my own question.
Had a service visit & the engineer was a bit baffled after checking a few things on the machine & also his laptop.
He said there was no water circulation within the machine (supply ok). It was just timing out & bringing the water supply lights on.
After consulting his technician he changed the main circulating pump which made no difference.
After consulting his technician again he said he was going to have to order a new air break & turbine plus a water solenoid valve as backup & arrange a further visit.
The second engineer came today & fitted the new air break & turbine, he said the solenoid valve would not be needed, they either work or not. Obviously mine was.
Anyway after fitting said air break/turbine the machine worked perfectly! Everything was much quicker, spray arms kicking in/detergent door opening etc.buseng
ParticipantRe: Beko Freezer Query.
I have attached a couple of pictures of one of the shelves.
I have slid one of the “plates” out in one picture to give you some idea.
Also the other shelves have different widths of “plates”, this is 3/4 width. Others are either full width or half a width.buseng
ParticipantRe: Beko Freezer Query.
Does that mean the actual thin plastic pieces stay there?

ParticipantRe: Accessing Creda Grill Energy Regulator?
All done & dusted, undid the two screws securing the unit to the work unit & it pulled straight out no bother. Removed the top & changed the energy regulator (turning the power off first!). Now have a controllable grill.
Many thanks to all for your help, and also to UK Whitegoods for quickly supplying the part.
One final question, having realised you don’t need to remove the top glass facia panel to change the regulator, I would like to remove it to clean behind it. I have found the securing screws & removed the 3 main knobs. But how do the 2 little clock knobs come off? I have tried pulling them off with no joy, the shafts look as if they are split at the ends where the knobs push on. I don’t want to break the clock unit as it is £108 to replace.buseng
ParticipantRe: Accessing Creda Grill Energy Regulator?
Iv’e had a look & it is on 4 adjustable legs about 6″ long, plenty of room underneath. It won’t lift much because the top is almost touching the bottom of the worktop. Weight wise, it certainly can’t be as heavy as the washing machine(s) I’ve shifted around lately.

ParticipantRe: Accessing Creda Grill Energy Regulator?
Thank you, it looks a bit of a nightmare. Does it pull straight out like my built in dishwasher? Looks like there are two screws securing it to the units at the front (either side of the grill housing) & there is a gas hob above it. Looks like there is enough give in the main cable. First job I reckon is to remove the plinth & get the hoover under there!

ParticipantRe: How much would the Part and Work COST?
If you mean the door seal, the price is £26 on here. Not sure of the labour costs though.

Thanks for that, certainly a different ball (sic!) game than the 12 year old Zanussi W/D it replaced!buseng
ParticipantRe: ball in pipe
iadom wrote:Its the eco ball.
As my esteemed colleague has already intimated.
First of all the machine fills for a few seconds through the rinse valve. This lifts the eco ball and seals off the outer drum from the sump hose. The machine then switches to the wash fill valve to flush the detergent into the drum.
It was found that on the older machines a portion of the detergent was being flushed right into the sump hose and was thus not used efficiently. 🙂
A bit off topic, but.
I have just bought a new Beko WM71442W & I noticed that irrespective of programme, I’ve noticed every time you turn the machine on it fills through the pre-wash dispenser for a few seconds & you get a gurgling sound in the sink drain before the main wash starts. Would the above be the reason?
If so it would put my mind at rest, I thought it might be a fault.buseng

petermm wrote:HELP!!!!
We have just moved into a house which is fitted with a DI62 Indesit Dishwasher which unfortunately has no instructions and the previous inhabitants didn’t use it (probably for the same reason). Can anyone suggest or provide me with a link to download the instructions or even tell me how to work the thing. I have spent ages searching the web but to no availMany thanks
Petermm
Is it fully integrated? If so is it this one?

If it is this one, you can download the manual from this link. Just tried this link, does not go straight into the machine – click on dishwashers, click on check them out, scroll to bottom, click on view tech sheet on bottom machine (DI 620 UK) – on the right hand side it says services- click on download the instruction booklet.
Hope this helps.buseng

I would tend to go with another NTC personally to rule that out, if that fails then maybe a call to Whirlpool as their service network will have a piece of hardware that can run a full diagnostics test on the PCB 🙂
Dave.
THE END! Engineer came out today to fit second NTC feeler- STILL THE SAME!! They have now give up as they cannot think of anything else. As I said they have checked other items ok (heater etc). Another machine time I think- I might try contacting Whirlpool themselves as a last resort. If they don’t know then nobody does! Just to mention, I noted that instead of running the NTC wire through the door to plug in the pcb, the “engineer” chopped & joined the wires at the bottom of the door. Would this make a difference? I would imagine there is a connection there.buseng
ParticipantRe: Whirlpool G2P DWS COLD ONLY?
Had 2 engineers from Apple Electrics come round today armed with wiring diagrams to try to sort out my machine. Bearing in mind the NTC Feeler, Timer & PCB have already been changed they checked for broken or damaged wiring, the element, the regeneration system, pressure switch etc. Everything seemed to check out ok. They were looking for a thermal reset or switch but could not find one, although they said it was present on some Whirlpools. At the end of the day they could not come up with anything positive. The only solution they came up with was to replace the NTC Feeler again as it could have been damaged or faulty. If this does not work, it seems the only answer is to replace the machine! One thing I would like to mention is that just prior to the failure, I changed the eco button from eco to full temp, I mentioned this to the engineers. It could be co-incidence though. I am a bit disapointed about the lack of response on this forum about this problem, does anyone have any ideas please? before I lash out on a new machine.

If he is, please ask him to contact me as I can let him have technical information that should help resolve the problem for you,
If he isn’t, he can contact me anyway as it may be beneficial to all 😀
Dave.
Hi, Thanks for your reply. I am not sure if they are a member of this site, it is Apple Electrics of Reading & so far 2 engineers have been involved. I am not sure how they will take it if I try to tell them how to do their job by referring them to you. Any chance of giving me the information please then I can decide what to do. Cheers.buseng
ParticipantRe: Whirlpool G2P DWS COLD ONLY?
The saga continues. First of all I would mention that fault occured after I set the eco button from 50′ to 65′ before I ran the 1st failed wash. Anyway I called a local (proper) firm out to look at it with a £61inc call out charge. The engineer checked the element ok & said it is the ntc feeler. After a wait of nearly 3 weeks for the part the engineer came back & fitted it. After running the machine it was still the same (cold only & the control knob cycling far too quickly). He said it it is now the timer/pcb. Again after a couple of weeks wait a different engineer came to fit them, again still the same. By now he scratched his head & couldn’t think what it could be, although he mentioned something about a pressure sensor. He said he would go back & look at some drawings & let me know, although he said it might not be worth carrying on with it & would be better to buy another machine. I have a feeling they might not call back. In a nutshell, so far it has had an ntc feeler, timer & pcb board.
Does anyone have any further ideas please? I would be very gratefull.buseng

Select the dishwasher support forum from the drop down and search for “NTC” (without the quotes), the pick out all the Whirlpool and Diplomat threads, you’ll find the answers there 😀
The most likely part is an NTC failure which is here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=476
Power off if checking yourself please or check the repairs@ link below if you need an engineer.
Dave.
Thanks. Do you or anyone else know where the NTC is situated in this machine & how easy is it to change? -
