I normally open up front of machine, then remove wires from heater & NTC. Pull out NTC (it just pulls out) then grip heater gasket with pump pliers through NTC hole & pull gasket & heater out in one. You get new gasket with heater. Fit new gasket on heater push in place (make sure gasket is lipped onto suds container). Then I refit shield, retaining washers, wiring & NTC.

From ser no 10/10809554 to 11/………… part no 3123852 £19.40 + VAT.
from ser no 11/………… back to part no 1545131 £35.55 +VAT.

Hi Merv, two types of hinge fit this model. The old type which to remove door you turn lever in middle of the bottom of the door part no 125387 left & 125548 right. The later type you turn disc in each hinge part no 481827 for a pair. Hope this makes sence. Regards clayside

Hi Dragan, Rinses light flashing indicates motor speed fault ie motor not turning, carbon brushes normally. sometimes broken wiring, open circuit taco & electronic are other faults. regards clayside

On back wall of drum two larger holes about an inch each side of centre. If you turn drum so they are at 3 o’clock & 9 o’clock shine torch in you will see allen screw in each, undo these ( they are captive ). Then undo six allen headed screws around back plate lift back plate it will come forward. Move back plate to side, heater is behind this lot. Also check one shot thermostat mounted on top of heater.

Main wash light flashing indicates heater fault, machine washes cold to end of wash.
Norm needs new heater element part no 6260480 £64.76 + vat
Have had a few with just the terminal burnt up so worth checking first. Also check that air trap is clean as have had some heating with no water causing heater failure.
